Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare is seeking a per diem Housekeeping Worker to maintain sterile and welcoming hospital environments. You will clean patient areas, support safety and morale, and work under Teamsters supervision with minimal disruption to patients and staff.

Wage range starts at $19.62/hour and can go up to $29.74/hour. Per diem status and shift differentials apply; evenings, nights, and weekends offer extra pay, with no traditional benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have valid WA driver’s license (may be required).
• Must have valid auto liability insurance (may be required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
• Certification from the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHHE).
• Essentials of Infection Prevention and Environmental Hygiene.

• Cleans and services hospital areas to ensure safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and employees.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and safe environment with minimal interference to others.

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currently starts at $19.62/hour and goes up to $29.74/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may also qualify for an additional 15% in lieu of benefits.

Shift Differentials will apply; Evenings (3p - 11p) = $2.50/hour, Nights (11p - 7a) = $3.50/hour, Weekends = $4.00/hour
