Job summary

Oak View Home is seeking a full-time cleaner to support our healthcare centers. You will perform routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, hallways and common areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety. This role emphasizes dignity, respect for patients, and adherence to center procedures.

Starting pay is $13.65/hour with benefits including PTO, holidays, health and retirement plans. Training and supportive leadership help you grow within a non-profit, mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Understands basic cleaning principles and safety related to the handling of chemicals.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and staff in a warm, professional manner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and maintain clean tile floors; follow center procedures.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms and clean surfaces in patient areas.
• Clean bathrooms, glass surfaces and windows; remove trash and replace liners.
• Move furniture for cleaning and maintain cleanliness behind furnishings.
• Follow infection control standards and use PPE as required.
• Maintain supplies in bathrooms and report equipment issues to Maintenance.
