Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) is seeking a Housekeeping Aide in Florida. The role supports Owners/guests with memorable vacation experiences and requires availability on weekends and holidays across shifts.

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to guest requests and other departments.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms.
• Identifies and reports maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strip trash and dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensure inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Operates cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors.
• Stock linen closets with linen and supplies.

As a Housekeeping Aide, a typical day will include:

• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.

• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.

• Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

• Strip trash/dirty linen from assigned checkouts.

• Ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms/villas.

• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.

• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet extractors, etc.

• Stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.

• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

• Contribute to team goals.

• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeping Aide at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
