Job summary

Aventura at Walton Hills is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, follow infection-control procedures, and assist with room turnover and supplies.

Strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as required to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and clean floors and surfaces.
• Properly disinfect high-touch areas.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and facility housekeeping standards.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Collect and dispose of trash and waste according to facility procedures.
• Assist with room turnover and special cleaning projects as needed.
• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
