Avalon Rehab & Care Center in Wayne, NJ, is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.

This full-time role offers competitive pay, health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement. Schedule is 6AM–2PM, 3 weekdays plus every Saturday and Sunday, with occasional coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hotel, or healthcare cleaning is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests.
• Ensure all areas meet facility cleanliness standards.

Schedule: 6AM-2PM, 3 weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday.
