Job summary

Franklin Restorative Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean rooms and common areas, follow infection control procedures, and support resident comfort and dignity.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina; you will bend, lift, and stand for extended periods while delivering respectful service and timely reporting of maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus, but not required).
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules, safety rules, and infection control procedures.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to serving residents.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, push, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and restrooms according to facility standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a safe environment.
• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow proper infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering items as assigned.
• Promptly report any equipment or maintenance concerns.
• Provide respectful and courteous service to residents, families, and staff.
