Job summary

Wabasso Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will support infection control, safety, and the overall quality of life within our facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, restocking supplies, handling laundry, and reporting maintenance concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.

• Physically able to bend, lift, stand for extended periods.

Housekeeping Aide

Position Summary:The Housekeeping Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in supporting infection control, safety, and the overall quality of life within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and restrooms according to facility standards

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a safe environment

• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed

• Follow proper infection control and safety procedures at all times

• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering items as assigned

• Promptly report any equipment or maintenance concerns

• Provide respectful and courteous service to residents, families, and staff

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus, but not required)

• Ability to follow cleaning schedules, safety rules, and infection control procedures

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
