Maine Veterans’ Homes in Scarborough, ME is hiring a dependable Housekeeping Aide for a full-time shift from 12:00pm to 7:30pm to keep residents, staff, and families in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces

• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal

• Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with facility guidelines

• Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas

• Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
• Basic computer skills
