Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Aide to support residents and staff across our Iowa locations. You will perform daily housekeeping and laundry, maintain a clean, welcoming environment, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are met with attention to detail.

You will work with the care team to create a home-like atmosphere, showing empathy, respect, and discretion in all interactions with residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily housekeeping and laundry duties following established task lists and procedures to support cleanliness, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and service areas with attention to detail, sanitation, and infection prevention while collaborating effectively with the care team.
• Engage respectfully and professionally with residents and guests, contributing to a positive and supportive facility atmosphere.
