Job summary

AristaCare Health Services in Linden, NJ is seeking a housekeeping role to maintain a clean, safe facility in accordance with federal and state standards. The position requires following schedules and working with the nursing team to support resident living areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and discharge areas, replenishing supplies, stocking carts, and adhering to daily project assignments with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be. (NOTE: Such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur.)
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Performs resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixtures
• Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed
• Keeps housekeeping carts stocked
• Follows daily project assignments.
• Flexibility with schedules.

Full Time / Per Diem The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day‑day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, and/or the Director of Housekeeping, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
