Job summary

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation in Independence, MO is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will perform daily housekeeping throughout the facility, follow cleaning schedules and infection control standards, and work with nursing and maintenance to support residents' needs. High school diploma preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience.
• Experience in healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, hospital, or similar setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and dress code.
• Help create a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents.

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team! The Housekeeping Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility.

• Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection control standards.

• Respond promptly to emergency housekeeping needs and spills.

• Properly use cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.

• Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, therapy, and other departments to support the needs of residents.

What We’re Looking For
