Job summary

The Housekeeper position at Hickory Treatment Centers is the primary sanitation member of the administrative team, ensuring cleanliness in all public areas and client rooms under the Housekeeping Supervisor. You will perform daily cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $14.00–$16.00 and benefits such as 401k, health, dental, and PTO.

This role requires dependability, teamwork, and adherence to infection control standards in a healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Professional demeanor and understanding of appropriate boundaries in a healthcare setting.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Satisfactory background check, OIG exclusion screening, and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of client rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, and other daily housekeeping tasks.
• Follow infection control protocols and all sanitation procedures.
• Comply with facility, state, and Joint Commission standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Manage client laundry on a rotating schedule.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazard to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain respectful, professional interactions with clients and staff.

About the Role

Under the immediate supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean environment including common areas and clients’ rooms
