Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in environmental services in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and basic cleaning procedures; infection control awareness.
• Effective communication; problem identification and frequent decision making.
• Mathematical ability: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; generate and interpret information.
• Ability to work cooperatively and mix cleaning solutions correctly.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services patient rooms, offices and hallways, as well as other inpatient, outpatient and ancillary areas.
• Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
