Job summary

OPS LIVING SERVICES LLC is seeking a diligent housekeeping professional to maintain cleanliness across rooms, hallways, and common areas. The role requires adherence to health standards, proper handling of chemicals, and safe storage practices.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, and fixtures; replenishing supplies; and reporting safety concerns. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to health standards.
  • Labels and stores chemicals per directions; maintains locked storage.
  • Empties trash, replaces liners, and disposes of waste properly.
  • Washes windows, walls, and surfaces; dusts furniture and fixtures.
  • Replenishes supplies and cleans storage areas; transports items as needed.
  • Reports repair needs and safety concerns to supervisor.

Position Summary: Perform duties to maintain the cleanliness of the facility.Essential Job Functions:Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, resident rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are metFollows user directions for all compounds and chemicals, including use of proper proportionsLabels all compounds and chemicals properly and stores them in locked storage areasEmpties trash containers, replace liners, as appropriate, and disposes of trash in proper receptaclesClean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingWashes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessaryDusts and polishes furniture and equipmentMaintains clean storage area and stores cleaning supplies in a directed mannerCarries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts and maintains fire aisles when using cleaning cartReplenishes supplies, linens, and bathroom itemsReports any repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriateObserves for resident safety when in resident care areasComplies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standardsAssists families and other visitors as neededAttends/completes required in-services and other required meetingsPerforms other duties as directedWork Environment & Physical Activity:The employee is occasionally required to wear protective clothingThe employee may be exposed to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, air contaminants, and hazardous chemicalsThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear, stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel or crouch, use hands to grasp, manipulate or feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
