Job summary

The Villas At Saratoga is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the daily cleanliness of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with established procedures. The role requires attention to infection control, respectful resident interaction, and teamwork with the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, reporting repairs, and participating in ongoing staff education.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common information in English.
• Mathematical Skills: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to perform operations using units of weight measurement and volume.
• Knowledge of basic principles of cleaning and disinfecting.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned resident rooms and bathrooms daily as directed.
• Keep rooms and contents clean and orderly.
• Clean other areas (offices, kitchens, lounges, halls, etc.) as assigned.
• Practice infection control policies and procedures.
• Report repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Attend in-service education and staff meetings as required.
