West Long Branch Lodging Realty LLC is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites of West Long Branch. The role involves creating a clean and orderly environment for guests by performing duties such as changing linens, vacuuming, making beds, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, bend and be on their feet for long periods.
• Able to lift no less than 20 lbs and push/pull no less than 50 lbs.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge of efficient cleaning techniques and products.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, restocking towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and tidying rooms after guest checkout.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Observe precautions to protect hotel and guest property and report damage or theft to supervisors.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required.
• Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, and bathroom items.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas to meet health standards.

The role of Housekeeper is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests while maintaining company standards. The Housekeeper is responsible for various cleaning duties such as replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, vacuuming, making beds, etc.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests check out
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Collect and remove trash and debris
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required
• Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met

Compensation and Benefits include:

• This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $15.92 to $16.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
• Part-time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified)
