Job summary

Hotels Unlimited, Inc. is looking for motivated Housekeepers to join the Holiday Inn of East Windsor team in New Jersey. In this role, you will ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests, performing essential housekeeping duties such as changing linens, vacuuming, and maintaining health standards.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.92 to $16.50 based on experience. Both part-time and full-time employees can benefit from paid time-off and various company plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Able to stand, squat, kneel, bend and be on their feet for long periods.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

The role of Housekeeper is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests while maintaining company standards. The Housekeeper is responsible for various cleaning duties such as replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, vacuuming, making beds, etc.

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests check out
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Collect and remove trash and debris
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required
• Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met

Compensation And Benefits

• This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $15.92 to $16.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
