Job summary

Promises in Dacula, GA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a sanitary, safe environment and support special events.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and CPR/First Aid certification, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience in a similar facility; healthcare food service is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within state-mandated time frame after hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, remove trash, change linens, and sanitize surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and linens in client rooms as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment and follow PPE protocols.
• Flexible with evening and weekend shifts as needed.
• Uphold professional boundaries with clients and staff.
• Adhere to the organization’s code of conduct.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper maintains a sanitary, safe, and clean environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. Additionally, the Housekeeper will assist with preparing special events.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and/or linen in client rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
• Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment, as required.
• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment techniques, as required.
• Available for alternate, evening and weekend schedules, and shifts may be required to meet client needs, state and regulatory agency requirements and business necessities.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with current and former clients, client family members, and referral sources.
• Comply with the company’s code of conduct.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• A minimum of 1 (one) year experience in housekeeping in a similar facility, preferred.
• Healthcare food services preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required for this position. If not CPR/First Aid certified at time of hire, certification must be obtained within the state mandated time frame after first day of employment.
