Job summary

Fusion Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to help keep patient rooms and common areas clean in a warm, family-friendly facility. You will maintain high cleanliness and safety standards and learn to operate commercial laundry equipment as needed.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and flexibility with scheduling, including every other weekend, in a community-focused environment that values residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and able to follow a schedule.
• May require a varied schedule, including some weekends as requested.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms.
• Clean common areas of the facility.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness & safety in designated areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens; lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work effectively as a team member.
• Demonstrate a solid work ethic with focus on quality and customer service.
• Learn to operate commercial laundry equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested

• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
