Job summary

Medieval Times is seeking team members to support housekeeping operations for our large venue in Arizona. The role involves cleaning restrooms, floors, windows, carpets and fixtures, restocking supplies, and assisting with general maintenance tasks as needed.

You will follow established cleaning procedures, handle chemicals safely, and coordinate with team members to ensure cleanliness standards across the facility. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet event schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and restocks restrooms.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follows chemical cleaner procedures; mixes solutions as specified.
• Strips, seals, finishes and polishes floors as needed.
• Notifies maintenance for repairs.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment.
• Cleans windows, mirrors and glass partitions.
• Steam-cleans or shampoos carpets and removes stains.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Dusts furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Services, cleans and restocks supplies in restrooms
• Gathers and empties trash
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment; mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Strips, seals, finishes and polishes floors as needed
• Notifies maintenance manager concerning the need for repairs
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Cleans windows, glass partitions and mirrors as needed
• Steam-cleans or shampoos carpets and remove stains
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
• Dusts furniture, walls, machines and equipment as needed
• Performs additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Requires repetitive movement and/or bending, twisting
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
• Able to communicate with Team Members
• Able to work in small spaces and at higher levels
• May be exposed to chemicals in performing general duties
• Requires work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
