Job summary

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament - Dallas is seeking housekeeping team members to help clean and maintain a 60,000 square foot facility. Responsibilities include restroom upkeep, trash removal, floor care, chemical handling, and general maintenance tasks across the building.

High school diploma preferred and 1–2 years of housekeeping experience; ability to work varied hours including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, restock, and service restrooms with supplies.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum building floors.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment; mix solutions as specified.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed.
• Notify maintenance manager for repairs.
• Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets and remove stains.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Medieval Times is looking for HOUSEKEEPING team members to assist with the cleaning of our 60,000 square foot building.

Job Duties

• Services, cleans and restocks supplies in restrooms
• Gathers and empties trash
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment; mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Strips, seals, finishes and polishes floors as needed
• Notifies maintenance manager concerning the need for repairs
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Cleans windows, glass partitions and mirrors as needed
• Steam-cleans or shampoos carpets and remove stains
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
• Dusts furniture, walls, machines and equipment as needed
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Requires repetitive movement and/or bending, twisting
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
• Able to communicate with Team Members
• Able to work in small spaces and at higher levels
• May be exposed to chemicals in performing general duties
• Requires work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed

Education And Work Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

PAY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IS $18.71/HOUR
