Job summary

LCS is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant (Housekeeping) for Oakmont Gardens in the United States. The role supports housekeeping and laundry, coordinates with the Director, and helps maintain a clean, welcoming community for residents.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred; previous environmental services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry schedules and coordinate updates with the Director.
• Communicate with residents regarding services, updates, and schedule changes.
• Manage scheduling for deep cleans, carpet and window cleaning.
• Assist with apartment move-in/move-out procedures and inspections.
• Process supply orders and code invoices for the Environmental Services department.
• Cross-train in basic housekeeping and laundry tasks to provide hands-on support when needed.
• Provide general support to the Environmental Services team as assigned.

Wage: $20–$22/hr, depending on experience

Oakmont Gardens is seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services Assistant to help ensure our community is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry services, assists with resident transitions, and helps maintain our high standards for comfort and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry schedules and coordinate updates with the Director
• Communicate with residents regarding services, updates, and schedule changes
• Manage scheduling for deep cleans, carpet and window cleaning
• Assist with apartment move-in/move-out procedures and inspections
• Process supply orders and code invoices for the Environmental Services department
• Cross-train in basic housekeeping and laundry tasks to provide hands‑on support when needed
• Provide general support to the Environmental Services team as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
