Overview

Position: Housekeeper/Maintenance Assistance (Part time, Tuesday to Saturday 8:00AM-12:00PM)
Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Location: Ivy Park at La Palma, managed by Oakmont Management Group

This role involves cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas. The Housekeeper also handles laundry and ironing for residents and community members in a friendly and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments as directed.
• Clean all public, common, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing PPE to protect the health and safety of team members and residents.
