Job summary

Oakmont Gardens is seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services Assistant to help ensure our community is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. This role supports housekeeping and laundry services, assists with resident transitions, and helps uphold our high standards for comfort.

You will coordinate daily schedules, communicate with residents, and assist with move-in/move-out procedures. The job requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry schedules and coordinate updates with the Director.
• Communicate with residents regarding services, updates, and schedule changes.
• Manage scheduling for deep cleans, carpet and window cleaning.
• Assist with apartment move-in/move-out procedures and inspections.
• Process supply orders and code invoices for the Environmental Services department.
• Cross-train in basic housekeeping and laundry tasks to provide hands-on support when needed.
• Provide general support to the Environmental Services team as assigned.

Wage: $20–$22/hr, depending on experience

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry schedules and coordinate updates with the Director

• Process supply orders and code invoices for the Environmental Services department

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (e.g., cleaning, moving furniture)
