Our Wellness team is seeking a dependable and caring Housekeeper to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of older adults.
In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and team members. What You'll Do
- Clean resident apartments according to established schedules and standards
- Clean and maintain common areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned spaces
- Perform resident laundry services as scheduled
- Make beds and change linens as needed
- Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and remove trash
- Restock housekeeping supplies and notify the supervisor when items are needed
- Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Properly use and store cleaning products and equipment
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety hazards
- Respect residents’ privacy, personal belongings, and living spaces
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
- Assist with additional housekeeping and community duties as assignedAssist with additional housekeeping and community duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or environmental services experience is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow established cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, respectful, and professional communication skills
- Genuine interest in working with older adults
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to (lifting requirement) pounds
- High school diploma or GED preferred
