Job summary

Traditions of Beavercreek in Medina, OH is seeking a diligent housekeeper to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas. You will ensure equipment is clean and functional, remove waste, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. A reliable schedule and teamwork are essential.

Preferred candidates include those with a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience. Retirement plan and PTO are offered as part of employee benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms according to duties.

Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
