Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
The working shift is 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday- Friday. Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed in the class specification. Picking up all trash from the areas assigned to them and disposing of it properly throughout the shift
Cleaning Living areas
Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and showers
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing hard surfaces
Keeping outside areas neat
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, ensuring they are maintained in sanitary conditions, replenishing paper supplies and soap as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/Competencies: Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures, cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to understand and effectively communicate to follow GMS policy
Basic knowledge of receiving and counting inventory with accuracy
Ability to work independently and perform work duties
