Job summary

State of North Carolina - OSHR Temporary Solutions is seeking a Housekeeper (S) at 301 Ashe Ave, Raleigh, NC, to perform custodial duties in the Governor Morehead School for the Blind facilities during a temporary assignment. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with an hourly pay of $17.00 based on education/experience.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in housekeeping related to the job.
• Ability to follow GMS/State policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Picking up trash and disposing of it properly throughout the shift.
• Cleaning living areas, classrooms, offices, bathrooms and showers.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitizing hard surfaces.
• Keeping outside areas neat and sanitizing bathrooms; replenishing supplies.
