Meadowlake Retirement Village in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Housekeeper for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 5pm) to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. The role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and other spaces in accordance with policy and safety standards, with duties across infection prevention and resident comfort.

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and proper disposal of waste according to facility procedures.
• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and properly use cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Prepare resident rooms for new admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond promptly to spills, environmental hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts, closets, equipment, and supply areas.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal space while performing assigned duties.
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules, checklists, and other required documentation.
• Perform deep cleaning and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
