Job summary

Meadowlake Estates in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment across the facility. This role performs routine and specialized cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and other designated spaces in line with facility policies and infection prevention standards.

You will contribute to resident health, safety, and quality of life by keeping the environment welcoming and orderly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and proper disposal of waste according to facility procedures.
• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and properly use cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Prepare resident rooms for new admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond promptly to spills, environmental hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts, closets, equipment, and supply areas.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal space while performing assigned duties.
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules, checklists, and other required documentation.
• Perform deep cleaning and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.
