Job summary

Tuscany Village Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. You will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living areas for residents in a long-term and rehabilitative care setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and facilities, handling floor-care tasks, reporting repairs, and assisting with daily housekeeping duties. Prior housekeeping experience and good communication are valued, with a friendly, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping operations preferred.
• Previous experience with floor-care equipment preferred.
• Able to tactfully communicate with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Dust and clean assigned areas including resident rooms, living areas, furniture, fixtures, vents, lavatories, and basins as scheduled.
• Dust-mop, Wet-mop, or spot-mop floors using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Strip, seal, wax and/or buff floors as necessary.
• Vacuum, extract and/or shampoo carpets as necessary.
• Wash and dry windows using appropriate cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners and dispose of trash properly.
• Strip and dispose of spoiled linens in appropriate receptacles for washing.
• Replace linens and make residents’ beds as scheduled.
• Report repair needs to supervisor and/or maintenance department as appropriate.

Job Responsibilities:

Safety Precautions
