Job summary

Residence Inn Downtown Seattle Lake Union is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public areas. You will dust, make beds, change linens, restock supplies, and assist guests with a smile, while following brand standards and safety protocols.

Applicants should have basic verbal and written communication skills, be able to stand and move for a full shift, and work weekends and holidays. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to stand, move, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wipe surfaces, dust and vacuum guest rooms according to brand standards.
• Change linens, make beds and restock guest room supplies.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash and follow green practices.
• Greet and assist guests during shifts with a friendly smile.
• Clean multiple rooms each day.
• Report broken or missing items to maintenance.
• Collaborate with all departments to support hotel goals.

Responsibilities

• Change linens, make beds and restock all guest room supplies.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash and carry out green practices as trained by the hotel.
• Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Clean multiple rooms each day.
• Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
