Job summary

Courtyard Seattle Kirkland is seeking a Housekeeper to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay for guests. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, changing linens, and assisting guests. The ideal candidate should have basic communication skills and be able to handle physical tasks like bending and lifting. Previous experience in cleaning or customer service is a plus, but not mandatory. This position requires availability to work weekends and holidays, and offers benefits including medical insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Wipe all surfaces, dust, and vacuum each guest room adhering to our brand standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and restock all guest room supplies.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash, and carry out green practices.
• Greet and assist guests during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Clean multiple rooms each day.
• Report any broken or defective items to the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with all departments to support hotel goals.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
