Job summary

The GreenFields is seeking dedicated housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for our residents.You will contribute to the overall resident experience through professionalism, attention to detail, and respectful daily interactions. A GED and English proficiency are required, with a focus on teamwork and compassionate service.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, and visitors.
  • Knowledge of long-term care practices, laws, and guidelines.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret department programs.
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
  • Must communicate with staff and other department supervisors.
  • Maintain rapport with residents and their families.
  • Willseek out new methods and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas on a regular schedule.
  • Restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
  • Dust surfaces, clean sinks, mirrors, and fixtures with care.
  • Empty trash and transport soiled linen following proper procedures.
  • Arrange furniture to maintain organized, inviting spaces.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and room set-ups as directed.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and report unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain housekeeping records and logs as required.
