Job summary

The GreenFields in New York is seeking dedicated housekeepers to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes professionalism, attention to detail, and meaningful daily interactions to enhance resident life.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, offices, and common areas; restocking supplies; dusting and sanitizing surfaces; and assisting with room setups.

Qualifications

  • GED required and able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must have strong work ethic and be able to interact professionally with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to follow safety and facility guidelines in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas on a regular schedule.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures; clean sinks, mirrors, and other surfaces.
  • Empty trash and transport soiled linen following proper procedures.
  • Arrange furniture to maintain organized, inviting spaces.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and room setups as directed.
