The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper (RVCH) in Cherry Hill, NJ, seeks a PRN Housekeeper to support our 90-bed facility’s cleaning and linen operations.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, carpet shampooing, equipment upkeep, linen management, and assisting with special functions. Schedule is as needed, up to 29 hours weekly; starting pay is $18/hour. Discounted meal benefits are offered as part of the employee package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prefer one year of housekeeping experience in a health care facility.
• Starting pay: $18/hr, based on experience.

We are looking to add a PRN Housekeeper.

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper (RVCH)

continues our organization’s renowned approach to addiction recovery, which combines evidence-based treatment with holistic programming that promotes wellness in body and mind. Our 90-bed, 55,000-square-foot facility offers a full continuum of care, ranging from the initial detox process to the aftercare services provided when treatment ends. Clients also participate in our Weekly Recovery Compass program, which helps to directly identify, monitor and address potential setbacks that can be counterproductive to recovery.

RVCH is located in the heart of Cherry Hill, NJ, near the Delaware River. With convenient interstate access, out-of-state clients can enjoy a 30-minute drive from the nearby Philadelphia International Airport.

The Housekeeper is responsible for the major floor cleaning and refinishing functions. He/She will use cleaning devices including commercial vacuum cleaners, twenty-four (24) ounce mop and wringers, and other necessary equipment, tools, products and supplies in accordance with the facilities’ objectives. Maintains and distributes linen inventory and oversees set-up for special functions. Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure the success of the facility by completing the following:

Core Job Duties

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Scrub to remove all soil and all or partial finish from hard surface flooring and refinish to glossy appearance.
• Shampoo carpets and remove spots from carpets.
• Report, as observed, need for repair to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures.
• Move and arrange furniture.
• Maintain assigned work area and equipment for cleanliness.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills.
• Show ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrate ability to work with others.
• Adapt to changing situations or work assignments.
• Conform to uniform and dress code, personal hygiene and good grooming.
• Adept in identifying potential problems within the department and seeks management guidance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

7am-330pm, as needed. No more than 29 hrs a week.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prefer one (1) year of experience or a personal preference in Housekeeping in a health care facility

• Starting Pay: $18/hr, based on experience
