Position Purpose and Summary
The Housekeeper position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
Major / Key Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
- Cleans assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
- Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
- Reports all maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager on duty.
- Assists with guest requests whenever possible and practical.
- Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Completes all required training, including annual Extended Stay University training.
Other Duties
- Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, such as the breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
- Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

- Work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor weather, humid conditions, and near mechanical or chemical hazards.
- Travel to other locations within a reasonable area may be required.
