Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to guest and associate satisfaction.
2. Clean assigned guest rooms following company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
4. Stock carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
5. Report maintenance issues and guest property concerns to the front desk or manager on duty.
6. Assist guests with requests and provide accommodations when possible.
7. Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
8. Complete all required training, including the Extended Stay University modules.

Other Duties

1. Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, such as the breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
2. Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
3. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
