The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, Kentucky is seeking a self-motivated, energetic Housekeeper (Part-Time) to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for residents. The role pays $10.34 per hour plus a $7.89 locality premium, with 15% second/third shift, 25% weekend, and 25% holiday premiums.

Description

The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

We are currently seeking a self- motivated, energetic Housekeepers to perform the following:

• Maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary attractive environment.
• Maintaining records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage.
• Other housekeeping duties as needed such as cleaning and maintaining floors.

This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $7.89 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:

• Second & Third shift: 15%
• Weekend: 25%
• Holidays: 25%
