Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean surfaces throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas and maintain proper infection-control standards.
• Empty trash and maintain appropriate housekeeping supplies.
• Assist with linen changes and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Perform routine painting and touch-up work throughout the facility.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including light sanding, patching, and minor repairs as needed.
• Paint walls, doors, trim, common areas, resident rooms, offices, and other designated areas.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance while completing painting projects.
• Properly clean and store painting tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Report larger maintenance or repair concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all facility safety, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Maintain a safe work area and use appropriate signage when floors are wet or work is being completed.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or damaged equipment promptly.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality.
