Job summary

McClure Post Acute is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to join our environmental services team on an on-call basis. You will keep resident areas, bathrooms, hallways, and common spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications include the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and good communication. Prior healthcare, skilled nursing, or hospitality housekeeping is preferred but not required; lifting and standing for extended periods are

• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to respond to on-call scheduling needs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash receptacles.
• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
