Job summary

Texas Health Arlington Memorial looks for a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff in Arlington, TX. This full-time night shift runs Monday through Friday, 11:00pm–7:30am, with rotating weekends.

You will perform cleaning duties, stock supplies, report equipment issues, and follow infection control guidelines. A High School Diploma is preferred and 6 months related experience is preferred; strong communication, flexibility, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 Months related experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Replenish linen and supplies in assigned area.
• Prepare work area for next service period by replenishing supplies on carts or in areas.
• Keep all equipment clean and report broken equipment to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

6 Months Related Experience Preferred.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working independently, setting priorities, and being flexible in assignments. Able to work around housekeeping chemicals. Full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.

What You Will Do

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, pulling trash, pulling dirty linen, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish linen and other supplies i.e., paper towels, trash bags, toilet tissue, etc. in assigned area.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
• Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
