Job summary

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound is seeking a Housekeeper – Environmental Services to maintain clean, safe patient areas and public spaces. You will empty trash, sanitize restrooms, restock supplies and handle waste disposal on a full-time, 7am–3:30pm rotating schedule, including every other weekend.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (preferred) and at least six months related experience; hospital or hotel background is strongly preferred and MS Office familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months related experience required.
• Experience in a hospital or hotel setting strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean and relines trash containers.
• Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets. Sanitize and spot clean.
• Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer, including removal of clinical equipment and soiled linen.
• Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.

Work hours: Full Time; Days, 7am-3:30pm; 40 hours per week, with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend

Here’s What You Need
