Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Housekeeper at Texas Health Cleburne to maintain clean, sanitary environments in patient care areas. The role includes cleaning floors, surfaces, and patient rooms, and restocking supplies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent (preferred) and 6 months of related experience. Strong communication, independence, and ability to lift 50 lbs are expected. Evening shift available.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines; includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash, linen, sinks, toilets, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish linen and supplies in assigned area (e.g., paper towels, trash bags, tissue).
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or areas to prepare for next shift.
• Keep all equipment clean and report broken equipment to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, pulling trash, pulling dirty linen, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish linen and other supplies i.e., paper towels, trash bags, toilet tissue, etc. in assigned area.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
• Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
