Job summary

Wesley Living in Memphis is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to provide general housekeeping for residents in a faith-based, non-profit setting. This full-time role values compassion, reliability and attention to detail, with duties across common areas and living units.

The position includes cleaning, disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and preparing units for occupancy, with a background and drug screening requirement. Join a mission-driven team serving seniors since 1969.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A minimum of 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must provide use of a cell phone (smartphone preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect commonly used areas and mop, sweep, and wax floors.
• Clean and prepare units for occupancy.
• Perform general housekeeping throughout the community.
• Other duties will be performed as needed.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient and will serve our residents with compassion and integrity as they perform general housekeeping work throughout the community. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting commonly used areas as well as mopping, sweeping, and waxing floors, and cleaning and preparing units for occupancy. Other duties will be performed as needed.
