Housekeeper Luxury Experience in New York is seeking talented and experienced professionals to join our team as full-time Room Attendants. You will clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish, and service guest rooms daily by following hotel standards to ensure the highest level of cleanliness.

Local candidates only; 1-2 years of luxury hospitality preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, speak and write the workplace language, work with minimal supervision, and follow OSHA guidelines.

Housekeeper Luxury Experience

Salary Range: $21.00 To $25.00 Hourly

We are seeking talented and experienced Housekeepers to join our amazing team. The Housekeeper will clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish, and service guest rooms daily by following hotel standards. As a Room Attendant, you will be held accountable to provide the highest level of guest room cleanliness with goals to exceed guest expectations. The Housekeeper must ensure guest contentment and attention to the guest's needs with a clean room and amenities must be stocked according to hotel requirements.

Duties to include, but not limited to;

• Luxury hotel experience preferred
• Stock cart with supplies needed to perform duties
• Strip room of soiled linen and garbage
• Empties wastebaskets, and follow OSHA guidelines for disposal
• Properly places guest amenities, e.g., toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories, and turndown amenities
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Clean baseboards, walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area from guest rooms
• Dust and clean all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, armoires, desks, etc.
• Makes beds with clean sheets in excellent condition, checks for stains and rips
• Knowledgeable and actively practices the hotels' emergency procedures and lost and found guidelines
• Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management, e.g., daily focus projects
• Participate in Quality Check Audit conducted by the management of rooms
• Assists colleagues when own job duties if needed
• Properly uses all cleaning fluids and supplies according to OSHA standards
• Participate in general cleaning of guest rooms set forth by management
• Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered
• Reports any discrepancies in room status, why the room was not completed, etc. to Manager
• Assist guest with any cleaning concerns they might have or requests for additional supplies
• Ability to own the responsibility/assignment
