Job description

We are seeking full-time Housekeeper Laundry Attendants to join our newest luxury life plan community in Tysons!

In this role, a housekeeper laundry attendant will maintain consistent inventory of clean table linens, uniforms, and cleaning cloths, follow established procedures for laundering of bed linens and terry, and track in-coming and outgoing dry cleaning.

Responsibilities will include:

• Performing laundry duties including sorting, loading and unloading washers/extractor and dryers, operating linen spreader, folder, and ironer, following established procedures for use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area including the regular cleaning of lint traps.
• Promptly notifying supervisor and/or maintenance staff of any equipment problems or irregularities.
• Monitoring laundry supplies and keeping supervisor informed of ordering needs.
• Being subject to learn other areas within housekeeping and use additional equipment as needed upon request with training and guidance.
