Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/Room Attendant & Laundry Attendant to join our team at our Derby, KS property. You will clean and prepare guest rooms to brand standards, perform deep cleaning tasks, and stock supplies to maintain a welcoming environment.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, and you will be expected to handle guest

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing towels and guest amenities.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies, linens, and cleaning products are properly stocked and organized.
• Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms, hallways, and designated areas.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Report guest concerns or service issues to leadership to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Notify maintenance staff of any equipment issues, damage, or repair needs within guest rooms or public spaces.
• Follow lost and found procedures and maintain guest privacy and security.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, or potential hazards.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Support additional housekeeping duties and special projects as assigned.

• Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Candidates should be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is primarily performed indoors within a hotel environment but may occasionally require movement throughout the property.
