Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our team. You will clean and prepare guest rooms to brand standards, restock towels and amenities, and maintain clean, organized spaces to create a welcoming guest experience.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina is required to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing towels and guest amenities.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies, linens, and cleaning products are properly stocked and organized.
• Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms, hallways, and designated areas.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Report guest concerns or service issues to leadership to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Notify maintenance staff of any equipment issues, damage, or repair needs within guest rooms or public spaces.
• Follow lost and found procedures and maintain guest privacy and security.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, or potential hazards.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Support additional housekeeping duties and special projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
