Job summary

Autumnwood Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Associate to maintain the cleanliness and organization of residents' living spaces, and to manage laundry thoroughly.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting high-touch areas, operating laundry equipment, and keeping accurate task logs. A high school diploma is required, you must lift 25 pounds, and be able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with attention to quality.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled in-service training to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements.

As a critical member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residents' living spaces, as well as ensuring that laundry is done thoroughly and efficiently.
